12" CIRCULAR CHART RECORDER shall be of solid-state construction and feature a combination of indicating, totalizing, and recording functions all contained within the same case.  The unit shall be a WATER SPECIALTIES MODEL IN48 or an approved equal.  The input signal to the instrument shall be a 4-20 mA current at the maximum indicator scale of __________ (specify indicator-recorder range and units). The enclosure shall be of impact resistant thermoplastic with a pressure latched, gasketed door with viewing window that seals the instrument from dust and moisture.

CHART AND INDICATOR scale range shall be 0 to __________ (specify indicator-recorder range and units) with an accuracy of plus or minus 1.0% of span.  The chart speed may be configured so chart rotation is from six hours to 744 hours (31 days).  The recorder shall utilize a 12" heat sensitive chart that is supplied "blank".  The unit prints its own chart including all dates, times, flow data, etc., as selected by the user. 

TOTALIZER must be built into the instrument case and shall be a digital LED.  The totalizer shall provide a totalization of flow volume and read in units of __________ (specify totalizer units). 

24 VDC POWER SUPPLY shall be furnished in the recorder to power the transmitter.

METER, TRANSMITTER AND INSTRUMENT shall be furnished by the same manufacturer to assure system compatibility.
